Edgerton Hospital’s emergency and urgent care center operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, responding to medical crises. The hospital also provides outpatient care, rehabilitation, and facilities for day surgery.
The hospital’s well-equipped acute care division typically maintains a staff-to-patient ratio of 1 to 5, with a team of registered nurses that check on patients hourly. The hospitalist team includes 12 physicians, all board certified in family medicine, emergency medicine, or internal medicine.
Edgerton Hospital, which was originally known as Memorial Community Hospital, has always sought to provide personalized care. The hospital adopted its current name in 2005 and later became affiliated with SSM Health Care of Wisconsin.
